Thank you for choosing DESKO. We take pride in the quality and durability of our ergonomic chairs, standing desks, and workspace accessories. This Warranty Policy explains the warranty coverage provided to customers purchasing DESKO products within the United Kingdom.

DESKO is operated by JOROOMOC PRO LLC, based in the United States and shipping exclusively to UK customers.
Although we are a U.S. company, our warranties are structured to comply with UK consumer protection laws, including:

  • Consumer Rights Act 2015 (UK)
  • Consumer Contracts Regulations (UK)
  • General consumer warranty guidelines

By purchasing from DESKO, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Warranty Coverage Duration

Standard Warranty: 1 Year

All DESKO products come with a 1-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects and functional issues under normal use.

Includes:

  • Ergonomic chairs
  • Standing desks
  • Under-desk footrests
  • Office seating accessories

The warranty begins on the date the product is delivered to the customer.

2. What the Warranty Covers

DESKO’s limited warranty covers manufacturing and material defects, including:

Mechanical or Structural Issues

  • Broken frames
  • Welding faults
  • Base, leg, or wheel defects
  • Height adjustment system failures
  • Recline mechanism defects

Material & Component Defects

  • Faulty mesh or fabric
  • Poor stitching
  • Padding deformity not caused by misuse
  • Hardware defects (bolts, screws, brackets)

Electrical Components (for Standing Desks)

  • Motor malfunctions
  • Control switch failures
  • Wiring defects
  • Electrical system faults not caused by overload

Products Arriving Damaged

If a product arrives broken, dented, torn, or unusable, the warranty applies immediately.
(You must notify DESKO within 48 hours of delivery.)

3. What the Warranty Does Not Cover

The warranty does not apply to damage caused by:

Customer Misuse or Accidental Damage

  • Excessive weight beyond product limits
  • Falling, dropping, or mishandling
  • Liquid spills or water damage
  • Modifications or unauthorized repairs

Normal Wear & Tear

  • Fading fabric or mesh
  • Minor cosmetic scratches
  • Expected cushion softening over time

Improper Assembly or Installation

  • Incorrect setup
  • Missing or overtightened screws
  • Damage from tools used improperly

Environmental Damage

  • Mold or mildew due to humidity
  • Heat or sunlight exposure damage

Commercial or Industrial Use

Warranty covers personal/home office use only, unless otherwise specified.

Damage After Warranty Expiration

Issues occurring beyond the warranty period are not covered.

4. UK Consumer Rights Act Protections

Under UK law, customers have the right to receive goods that are:

  • Fit for purpose
  • As described
  • Of satisfactory quality

If a product is found defective within the first 30 days, you are legally entitled to a full refund or replacement.

After 30 days, DESKO will:

  • Offer a free replacement part
  • Offer repair solutions
  • Replace the product if repair is not possible

5. Warranty Remedies—What We Provide

If your claim is approved, DESKO will determine the appropriate remedy:

Replacement Parts

We may send the exact replacement component (screws, motor, mesh panel, wheels, etc.).

Full Product Replacement

If the defect cannot be repaired or parts are unavailable, we will replace the entire item at no cost.

Partial Refund

If the defect is minor or the customer chooses to keep the item.

Full Refund

Only when repair or replacement is not feasible.

DESKO covers all costs if the issue falls under warranty.

6. Customer Responsibilities During Warranty

To maintain eligibility:

  • Follow assembly instructions carefully
  • Use the product for normal, intended purposes
  • Report issues promptly
  • Provide accurate information during claim submission
  • Do not modify or alter the product
  • Keep proof of purchase (order number)

If misuse or negligence is found, the warranty becomes void.

7. How to Submit a Warranty Claim

To initiate a warranty claim, contact us:

  4. Photos/videos of the issue
  5. Description of what happened
  6. Delivery date

Our support team will respond within 1–2 business days (Monday to Sunday).

Claims without visual evidence cannot be processed.

8. Warranty Claim Process

Step 1—Review

Our team evaluates the submitted evidence to determine warranty eligibility.

Step 2—Diagnosis

We may request additional photos, videos, or troubleshooting steps if needed.

Step 3—Approval

If approved, we will propose a remedy (replacement part, product replacement, or refund).

Step 4—Resolution

We ship replacement parts or issue a replacement at no cost.

Step 5—Follow-Up

We verify customer satisfaction after the solution is delivered.

9. Shipping Fees & Warranty Coverage

If your warranty claim is valid:

DESKO Covers:

  • Replacement part shipping fees
  • Full product replacement shipping
  • Return shipping (if required)

Customer Covers:

  • Shipping costs for damage caused by customer misuse
  • Shipping fees for out-of-warranty issues
  • Any optional express shipping upgrades

10. Products Not Eligible for Warranty

The following items are excluded:

  • Items purchased from unauthorized third-party sellers
  • Used, refurbished, or resold products
  • Items without a valid order number
  • Products altered, customized, or modified
  • Display or demo units

The warranty applies only to original purchasers buying from desko

11. Warranty on Replacement Items

Any replacement part or product provided under warranty:

Is covered for the remaining period of the original warranty

Not an additional full-year extension.

12. Lost or Missing Warranty Claims

If a customer does not respond to our claim support team within 7 business days (Monday to Sunday), the claim may be automatically closed.

Customers can reopen the claim by contacting support again.

13. Manufacturer & Structural Disclaimer

While DESKO products are built with high-quality materials, no ergonomic chair or standing desk is indestructible.

Warranty does not guarantee:

  • Lifetime durability
  • Indestructible materials
  • Performance under improper usage

The warranty strictly covers manufacturing defects, not damage from use over time.

14. Legal Compliance

This policy is written to comply with:

UK Consumer Rights Act 2015

Customers have statutory rights for goods that fail within the first 6 months.

UK Consumer Contracts Regulations

Customers have clear rights regarding defective goods and purchase transparency.

U.S. Warranty Standards

15. DESKO Liability Limitation

DESKO is not responsible for:

  • Damage from failure to follow instructions
  • Wear and tear due to personal habits

Our warranty covers the product only, not consequential damages.
